Since early 2020, QYK Brands has been formulating and producing PPE products including KN95 masks and hand sanitizer. Today, it is leading the way in producing high-performing, EPA-registered disinfectant products in the US. QYK Brands is also one of the most prominent suppliers of raw materials, from spunbond substrates to plastic canisters, for many internationally acclaimed wet wipes producers and contract manufacturers.

Part of CEO, Rakesh Tammabattula’s vision is to help build a stronger economy. “We plan to create at least 200 new manufacturing jobs locally within the next one to two months,” he says. “We are setting a precedent to bring manufacturing jobs back to the US and show other companies that we don’t need to rely solely on overseas materials and goods.” According to the Alliance for American Manufacturing, for every one manufacturing job that is created, an additional 7.4 American jobs are generated in other industries. Manufacturing jobs are vital to building a strong economy. Since November 2020, QYK Brands has created more than 100 manufacturing jobs and plans to continue developing their local workforce.

Their new expansion into a sprawling 130,000 square feet facility in Southern California focuses primarily on wet wipes manufacturing. On Sept. 8, 2020, the company enthusiastically received its EPA-approval for its Surface Disinfectant RTU Spray, and on Oct. 9, 2020, the EPA-registration for its Surface Disinfectant Wipes was approved. Today, they are spearheading the production of high-performing wipes with enormous capabilities established and integrated vertically to support their goal to become the leader in the industry.
